The Chemical Society of Nigeria, Ogun State Chapter has been actively involved in various activities ranging from organizing award/prize giving day for Zonal and State Champions of the chapter chemistry competition and teachers in schools representing the chapter at the National competitionListed below are some of the major activities undertaken by the Chapter for the past two months:1.Holding of regular bimonthly Chapter meetings of the Society2.Bimonthly holding of impactful seminars on various topics3.Registration of new members and revitalization of some campuses/industries participation at meetings4.The Chapter paid a Courtsey Visit to one of the Society’s Fellows, Prof. Akan Williams, the DVC…
Adeyinka O. Fasakin has been appointed as the Representative of Nigeria to the International Union for Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC). The Lecturer at the Department of Industrial Chemistry, Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti will serve the Union in Division VIII - Chemical Nomenclature and Structure Representation. We wish him a successful tenure.
